Hello, I'm Kim! If you stick with me, you’ll get all the fundamentals and tactics I’ve learned over the past 6+ years of learning to manage my own chronic illness, and becoming a certified health coach. Plus you'll receive unique strategies for you as a woman with PCOS so that you can be successful, no matter how much you have on your plate or what you’ve tried in the past.I’ll break them down for you in simple, easy-to-use action steps so you can see how simple they are to implement in your own life. 

I’m super excited to share how I regained control of my body after years living as if my symptoms controlled me. But more on that another time… Because before I was successful at reducing some and eliminating many of my chronic illness symptoms I was unhappy. I couldn’t lose weight.  I couldn’t sleep.  I was scared to make plans with people because I didn’t know how I was going to feel.  Relationships were strained.  Things were just… not.  good.My ability to grin and bear it was wearing thin.  I wasn’t a complainer.  I pushed through.  That is what I did. 

To be honest, frustration with my inability to lose weight was what pushed me to find a functional practitioner.  It wasn’t the other symptoms.  I figured something had to be wrong since my body wouldn’t release the weight, no matter what I did. So, I announced to my family in December of 2017 that 2018 was going to be the year of Kim.  I was going to figure things out. 

We had come back from visiting my best friend in Iowa for Thanksgiving and I felt like crap.  I had just gone back to the high school math classroom as a long term substitute after 13.5 years of being home.  I remember sitting at my desk wondering how I was going to make it through the day. 

Now my mission is to minimize the overwhelm you feel from all the complicated recommendations you've heard and tried to manage your PCOS weight.  I want to shout from the rooftops that, in many cases, PCOS can be managed through lifestyle changes that aid in weight-loss and help you take back control of your body. While you adjust your lifestyle, you may even see other aspects of your health improve as well!

It is time for you to be heard so that you can feel confident and beautiful in your own skin.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

The amount of weight you lose will vary depending on a number of factors, including your starting weight, activity level, and diet. Everyone is different.

I am super busy, will this program work for me?

The education portion of the program as well as the Facebook group are available for you to do at any time of day. The group coaching sessions are recorded in case you have to miss. The one-on-one coaching program is booked based on your calendar. (We will find a time that works.)

How do I know if a health coach is right for me?

If you are struggling to lose weight on your own, a health coach can provide you with personalized support, education, and accountability to help you reach your goals.
